Stretch Packaging
Stretch packaging is an innovative retail display packaging process that enhances product display. Stretch packaging uses the some of the best features of blister, clamshell, skin and shrink wrapping to provide a high quality packaging process.
The Packaging Factory is experienced in using Stretch Packaging for all manner of products and there are many advantages to using it. This form of packaging is highly secure as it is difficult to open a pack in the shops and remove the item. Also Stretch packaged products can have a security tab that can be sealed within the packaging, if required.
How can Stretch Packaging be used?
Stretch packaging is ideal for any:
- Bottles
- Jars
- Solid items
- Pressurised containers
- Aerosol containers
Up to 4 items can be collated together with Stretch packaging. Two or three different windows can be used and stretch packaging offers the option of viewing the items from one side, or from both sides
through the card.

What are the advantages of Stretch Packaging?
Stretch packaging is perfect to enhance display because of the use of crystal clear Surlyn window. This means that the visibility of the product is excellent which is an essential feature to good packaging. The Surlyn film is also outstanding to achieve a good hold on the product. The last thing you want is the product rotating and shifting during transit.

Stretch Packaging was certified as recyclable by the Papiertechnische Stiftung authority in Munich. Our packaging with Stretch Packaging uses a very low material weight, up to 30 % on typical comparisons by a major retailer.
